These posters are an ode to the infamous New York City anarchists and troublemakers, Up Against the Wall Motherfucker. Growing out of the Black Mask group, and reaching out beyond their home in the Lower East Side of NY, UAWMF published dozens of broadsides, tore down the fences at Woodstock, were part of the 1968 takeover of Columbia University, and like their West Coast counterparts the SF Diggers, tried to turn daily life into revolution.
