Extreme Rich/Poor Divides

Deputy Dog has posted a series of photographs of the difference in living conditions between rich and poor in various countries around the world. These are some of the more shocking images I have seen of the wealth divide, and they’re jarring even to the most class-conscious among us, as the comments below his post suggest.

    The picture is actually from Sao Paolo, but there are many more pictures from other cities in similar situations, like Dharavi and Caracas.
